Firearms have been the primary weaponry of soldiers for several centuries, which is why almost every one of our exhibitions features a veritable arsenal of European handguns, rifles and machine guns. Particularly noteworthy are the unique Polish designs: the prototype VIS wz. 32 pistol and the ‘Błyskawica’ submachine gun.
Fans of the Second World War will, of course, find Mausers, Mosins, Parabelkas, Pepeshas and Maxim machine guns here. In addition to combat weapons, the museum also collects sporting and hunting firearms.
