We have successfully completed another project. This time, thanks to a grant we received, we were able to run excellent training sessions on the conservation of museum exhibits for volunteers at the Lubuskie Military Museum. As part of the project, three training sessions were held, during which the volunteers learnt, in theory and practice, the basics of regulations concerning the conservation of museum exhibits and health and safety at work; they received first aid training, learnt the basics of varnishing, and prepared the surfaces of the exhibits for painting.
It is worth mentioning that the project was initiated and implemented by the informal group “Volunteers of the Lubuskie Military Museum”, for which our association acted as a patron.
Project entitled “Training in the conservation of exhibits”
