We are implementing a project entitled ‘Development of Volunteering at the Lubuskie Military Museum’, which has received funding from the Solidarity Corps – the Government Programme for the Support and Development of Systematic Volunteering for the years
2018–2030, under the ‘Support for Volunteering Organisations in NGOs – WOW in NGOs!’ scheme
The project aims to comprehensively develop volunteering for the benefit of the Lubuskie Military Museum (its collections, support for cultural activities, promotion, etc.) and the statutory activities of our association. An important element of this is the provision of support packages for volunteers – training, the purchase of necessary equipment and tools, insurance, and the promotion of activities.
A volunteering coordinator will oversee the activities, forming a team of around a dozen volunteers for whom volunteering for the museum will be a way to pursue their interests and passions, as well as a place for personal development.
Project duration: 1 September 2023 – 30 August 2026
It is worth noting that, out of over 150 funded applications, our organisation’s project will receive funding as one of only three from the Lubuskie Province.
