The Lubuskie Military Museum presents over 30 watercolours by Cezary Bednarczyk (b. 1988), an artist from Zielona Góra. The exhibition comprises four series of works. The largest series consists of 19 pieces created in 2025, depicting the vast fields of the Lublin region. These are small-format watercolours painted en plein air. The remaining works are studio pieces showcasing the charming corners of Venice, Baltic beaches and Zielona Góra.
In his landscapes, the artist combines an impressionistic approach to light and atmosphere with a subjective approach to colour. The perfectly captured ‘impressionism’ is combined with a freehand brushstroke, demonstrating a superb mastery of watercolour technique.
The works on display at the Lubuskie Military Museum are being presented to a wider public for the first time.
The exhibition runs until 10 May 2026.
